Reflection Note
Reflection Notes encompass reflections from both students and faculty members about student research. Students are invited to reflect upon and share the learning outcomes and the personal value gained from their research engagement. Faculty members are encouraged to share lessons learned regarding the benefits and challenges related to collaborating with or mentoring student researchers.
Reflection Notes is the only type of submission that can be single-authored by an established researcher with experience in student research. ISSRJ wants to hear from community members eager to share their experiences of working with and mentoring student researchers. These experiences may include, but are not limited to, developing and conducting student research courses, best practices for mentoring students, and the need for changes in student-research-related educational policies and programs.
